Alcohol Drug and Policy
This policy applies to all personnel involved in operations with Reflect Geophysical. It is designed to set standards that are in line with those current in our industry and give confidence to our clients and other contractors that REFLECT takes its responsibilities seriously.
ALCOHOL
All Reflect Geophysical work sites are alcohol-free. The storage, possession or consumption of alcohol, is strictly forbidden at all Reflect geophysical vessels and work sites. This includes driving vehicles or operating machinery on REFLECT business. All personnel are required to be present at any work site free from the effects of alcohol.
MISUSE OF DRUGS
The use of restricted drugs, when not under the supervision of trained medical care, is totally forbidden. Any person discovered to be using illegal substances as the result of an official test will be subject to immediate suspension until the circumstances have been fully investigated. Intentional illegal use will result in the dismissal of the person or persons involved.
DRUG & ALCOHOL (D&A) TESTS
REFLECT reserves the right to conduct searches on board the vessels, and of personal belongings, prior to joining or departing without prior announcement. The searches or tests may include the taking of breath or urine samples to determine the presence of drugs, narcotics or alcohol. Persons refusing to submit to a search or test, or is found to be violating this policy, shall be subject to applicable lawful disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Where clients have Drug and Alcohol policies which require our compliance in order to undertake work for them, we will abide by these policies. This may include random testing, and Reflect Geophysical employees will be expected to cooperate with any such testing.
