Health, Safety, Security & Environment

Reflect is committed to managing its business in such a way that it minimizes the risk to the health and safety of its employees and any other persons on whom it may impact and minimizes the risk of damage or harm to the environment and wildlife. This commitment is recognized to be in the best interest of all Reflect stakeholders and is essential for the long term business success of the organization.

We are a core member of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) who provide a central point for issues on best practices, with an emphasis on HSE.

We believe that we always can improve to the benefit of our customers, staff and stakeholders. We maintain focus on quality improvements within our working culture through applying international and acknowledged standards and best practice.

Environment

Geophysical exploration operations offshore can be associated with many environmental issues. We invest in enhancing and further developing Reflect environment-related strategies and competence, including:

  • Energy use
  • Carbon initiatives
  • Interaction with marine life

An update of our Environment Aspects and other 14001 based registers is underway. These allow us to assess levels of environmental risk associated with activities across the company and prioritize areas of improvement. REFLECT constantly demonstrates its commitment to conducting seismic operations in an environmentally responsible manner. Our staff is essential for successful implementation of new technologies, systems and tools in the field. Reflect recognizes that protection of the environment is our responsibility.

We are committed to:

  • Complying with applicable legal and industry standard requirements associated with our activities.
  • Achieving continual improvement in environmental performance.

We are working toward company-wide compliance with the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management in order to continuously improve how we measure, monitor and assess our environmental performance. Key company-wide environmental focus areas have been identified for monitoring environmental performance and achieving continual improvement.

Senior management participates in the review process and is responsible for resources being made available to maintain and communicate activities related to environment management within Reflect.
